Privacy Policy
Call the Cat: Fishing · Updated: 21 September 2026
This policy applies to the web and native mobile versions. Processing may differ depending on the platform and third-party services actually used.
1. Operator and information not collected
The operator is Baren81. The game connects no operator account server, online leaderboard, or cloud save. It does not directly request your name, phone number, address, contacts, photos, or precise location, and game progress and settings stored on your device or browser are never sent to an operator server.
2. Device and browser storage
Progress, per-pond best scores, field guide records (species caught and their sizes), and language, sound and timing-calibration settings are stored in local storage on the device or browser to restore the game and display records. Clearing browser site data or app storage, or using "Start over" in game, deletes those records. The operator cannot remotely read or restore device-only records.
3. AdMob advertising
In native mobile versions with advertising enabled, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) may serve banners at the top and bottom of the screen and optional rewarded advertisements. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob may process or share your IP address, app and device identifiers (including an advertising ID where permitted), interactions such as app launches, taps and video views, and ad and diagnostic information, and may estimate approximate location from the IP address. Actual processing depends on the platform, region, ad settings and consent choices. The game offers no in-app purchase or ad-removal product and neither requests nor processes payment information. The web version distributed by the operator does not request native AdMob, analytics, or payment SDKs.
4. Third-party web game portals
If the game is published on a third-party web game portal, that portal may operate its own advertising, analytics and account features. Its own privacy policy applies to that processing, and the operator does not receive that data.
5. Consent and choices
Native versions may present the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent and privacy options form. If "Ad privacy settings" appears in Settings, you can revisit the choices offered there. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission may be requested. Declining tracking does not restrict the game; ads are simply served in a non-personalized form. For details see the Google Privacy Policy, AdMob Privacy & messaging, and Apple ATT.
6. Children
The game does not create an account server aimed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Age ratings, parental controls, consent and child-safety requirements follow the policies of the distributing platform and applicable law.
7. Third parties, international processing and contact
When native advertising is enabled, AdMob and advertising partners may process related information on infrastructure outside your country. The hosting provider for these public legal pages and the email service may also process access and enquiry information under their own policies. For access, correction, deletion or suspension requests and any other enquiry, write to barendevlog@gmail.com. Information controlled solely by a platform, such as store accounts and advertising identifiers, must be requested from that platform directly. Email addresses and enquiry contents are kept only as long as needed to reply, except where law requires longer retention. If processing changes, this document and its update date will be revised.
