Steam Terms of Service

Call the Cat | Effective date: July 12, 2026

These Terms apply to the Steam version of Call the Cat. Mobile versions may use separate mobile terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or playing the Steam version of Call the Cat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

2. Game Service

Call the Cat is provided as a casual game service. Game features, balance, rewards, events, supported modes, and supported platforms may be changed, added, limited, or removed as development and service operation require.

3. Steam Account, Purchases, and Refunds

Downloads, purchases, refunds, Steam Cloud, achievements, overlay features, and other Steam platform features may be handled by Valve through Steam. Those features are also governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement, Steam refund rules, and Valve's policies.

Baren81 does not directly process payment-card or bank-account information. Refunds and purchase disputes are generally handled through Steam, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the game, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, manipulate save data or purchases, exploit bugs, or use automated tools in a way that harms the game, other users, or service operation.

5. Intellectual Property

The game, characters, images, audio, text, code, and other content in Call the Cat are owned by Baren81 or licensed to Baren81, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, or use the game content outside the game without permission, except where allowed by law or platform rules.

6. Updates, Suspension, and Termination

The game may require updates for security, compatibility, balance, bug fixes, or new features. Access to some features may be limited or discontinued if required for service operation, platform policy, legal compliance, or technical reasons.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The game is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Baren81 does not guarantee that the game will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device or platform. Baren81 is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages except where liability cannot be excluded by applicable law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region provide otherwise.
